If you followed our coverage of Josh Welle while he was running for congress last year, you already know that he is a shameless weirdo who suffers from delusions of grandeur.

The stunt Welle pulled in Rumson last weekend is downright bizarre.   He held a party in his neighbor’s backyard without her permission. Kathleen Patchell Manning returned home from church to find that Welle and his guests had set up a party with tables, chairs, grills and a badminton net while she was worshiping.  Manning’s trampoline was moved within her property to be closer to the Welle action.

When Manning returned home to find the party she wasn’t invited to happening on her property, Welle explained that he entered her home to ask permission, but she wasn’t there.  “I hope you don’t mind,” he said, according to her daughter’s post of facebook.

Welle bought his Rumson home two years ago, but he never introduced himself to his neighbor until he was trespassing on her property with several party guests.

Welle said on a podcast last March, that he was thinking of running for federal office again in 4-6 years.

Given the opportunity to explain his bizarre behavior, Welle said he did not have time to take questions.

Manning has since posted on facebook that she’s taking reservations if anyone wants to use her property for a party.
